We were invited to a hands-on seminar given by a wholesaler in San Antonio. They had some great new products from several different companies including Evolved, WET, & Screaming O.

After Purchase
Anything you purchase should first be inspected to make sure there are no rough edges. This is especially true of anything that is plastic. Cleaning Solutions
Antibacterial soap and warm water is a must for cleaning toys. Any toy has come in contact with blood, should be washed in soap and water and then soaked in a solution of one part household bleach to nine parts water. Remember to rinse well in clear water after to remove any of the cleaning residue. There are also several commercial adult toy cleaning solutions that can be purchased that have been specially formulated to kill all bacteria and germs but preserve the life of the toys. Make sure your toys are completely dry BEFORE putting them away.
Cyberskin
Cyberskin is extremely sensitive and should be cleaned following use with warm water and stored in a clean dry place. Silicone
Silicone is a very durable material so it can be easily cleaned with soap and water, boiling to disinfect will not harm it and it can even be placed on the top rack of the dishwasher. Do make sure that the entire product is silicone and that it does not have any plastic parts. Anything that is on the device that is not silicone could be damaged and in this particular case a cleaning with soap and water will be all that you can do. Even though silicone is very durable it can crack and a crack can lead to a tear, so be careful with nails and teeth when you are handling silicone. Another important note about silicone is you must use a water-based lubricant because silicone-based and oil-based lubricants will damage your new silicone toy.
Toy Storage

Latex
It is important to know that latex can be severely damaged by anything that is oil or petroleum based. Latex is primarily used in condoms and dental dams. Use only water-based products with latex toys, store anything latex away from heat or direct sunlight and discard latex products after use.
Leather
Leather is a very difficult material to keep clean because of all the irregularities of the material. To clean leather, first wash the edges with a strong foaming cleaner and a brush, then wipe down all of the surfaces with hydrogen peroxide and allow to dry. Follow this by using saddle soap for an additional cleaning. The last process is using a leather conditioner to restore it back to its natural finish. Rubber is a very porous material, so as previously discussed, the easiest way to keep them clean is with a condom. Clean all rubber products after use with soap and warm water. They need to also be rinsed well as the left over soap residue can cause damage to the rubber and also irritate the skin.

There are two types of vibrators – waterproof and non-waterproof. If you own the waterproof variety then the vibrator can easily be cleaned with soap and warm water. If the vibrator is not waterproof then you have to be very careful not to get water in or around the motor or the batteries. Don’t ever immerse a non-waterproof vibrator in water. If it is the hard plastic model, soak a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol to clean and then let it dry and air out. You can also leave it. We chose to leave it because the cornstarch made the FleshLight feel satiny. Seriously. Like satin. It’s possibly the softest material I’ve touched in a long, long while. I pet it. Which was weird. Because it was a fake vagina. Regardless, it was newborn-skin soft.

The FleshLight is going to come in a tin tube that advertises exactly what it is on the outside. Surprisingly, the FleshLight tube is actually pretty large. It also comes with the instructions and a small-sized trial lubricant to use with your FleshLight. Something odd to mentio and Jor noticed it too: Maybe it’s because our FleshLight Pink Lady Original was an older version or something, but the can for that one was much more well made. It felt like strong tin. This Ice tin is very thin tin and the “product stats” on the back is actually a sticker instead of being printed on it. I didn’t really care much either way, but it was odd.
Quick things of note: Because of the lack of pigment, the FleshLight Ice actually ends up being more sticky than a regular FleshLight. Powdering it regularly seems to help quite a bit with that. The stickiness didn’t really bother us, but it was definitely something that I noticed, and it’s something that’s mentioned in FleshLight’s FAQ section.
Before I get into use – cleaning. Only use water-based lubricant ’cause silicone based could harm it. After use, it should be washed out with water (not soap. Soap hurts it.) and left out to dry. It should be fully dried before being placed back into the case because if placed into the case while it’s still wet, it actually could mold. (Ew.) The first time you use it, I recommend cleaning thoroughly to get all of the cornstarch out as well.

So what about the toy itself? Yeah, it totally earns “Best Male Masturbator We Own” award. I thought Jor was going to give up on FleshLights when we first tried the Lady Original. It just didn’t have the texture he was looking for, and he was completely unimpressed. However, this one, with the intensity of 4 out of 5 according to Dallas Novelty, was amazing. Really though, the Ice is just an added benefit to an already rockin’ toy.
My verdict? We both can’t recommend it enough. Really. If you are looking for a FleshLight or male masturbation toy, this is totally the one to keep. Skip the original.
